Morton Impact Fund
The Fund Behind Our Annual Community Grants, Supporting Every Corner of Morton
The Morton Impact Fund is the cornerstone of the Morton Community Foundation’s ability to respond to the evolving needs of our community. Established during our original “Founder’s Campaign” in 2000, this unrestricted endowment provides the flexibility to address immediate priorities and future opportunities that cannot always be anticipated. Unlike designated funds, which are limited to specific purposes, the Morton Impact Fund allows the Foundation to direct resources where they are needed most—whether that’s supporting vital services, launching innovative programs, or meeting urgent challenges as they arise. Each year, this fund powers our Annual Community Grants Cycle, providing critical support to local nonprofits, schools, parks, libraries, and other organizations that keep Morton strong and vibrant.
Why is this Fund So Important?
Supports our Annual Spring Community Grants Cycle, helping local nonprofits, schools, parks, libraries, and more.
Gives us maximum flexibility to address urgent needs now—and invest in future opportunities.
